近日，荷兰斯坦德大学(Stenden University)作为唯一的一所荷兰大学，被卓越旅游与酒店管理教育国际中心(THE-ICE)授予正式会员身份。这一殊荣肯定了斯坦德大学在为保持酒店旅游管理方面的优质教育和国际化做出的努力。
在鉴定评语中，THE-ICE认为斯坦德大学的专业“提供了成熟，结构清晰并紧密连接产业的课程设置。 特别值得褒奖的是斯坦德大学的学术研究贡献以及联合其他荷兰高校构建酒店、旅游和休闲行业专家中心的努力。校园优质的硬件设施令人印象深刻。辅导员和互助小组关注学生的全方位成长，学习型公司帮助实现理论知识与实践培训相结合的教学方法。”
卓越旅游与酒店管理教育国际中心(THE-ICE)成立于2004年，是一个独立的非盈利的国际认证机构、基准测试以及教学质量促进机构，专门从事旅游、酒店、烹饪艺术和庆典活动管理的教育、培训和研究。同时，为所有国际学生提供全球优质的相关教育资源严谨的评估对比。其成员包括全球各个国家著名的酒店管理专业院校，现在荷兰斯坦德大学也加入了成员名单。

Stenden leads the way in Tourism and Hospitality excellence
First Dutch Full Member of the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Management (THE-ICE)
The Tourism and Hospitality Management programmes of Stenden University of Applied Sciences have successfully met international accreditation Standards of Excellence. Stenden has been welcomed as a Full Member of the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) and is the first institution in The Netherlands to gain this recognition. This confirms Stenden’s commitment to excellence in tourism and hospitality education as well as to internationalisation.
According to THE-ICE, the educational programmes “provide mature and well-structured courses with a strong industry engagement. StendenUniversity should be commended for the incredible achievements in respect to their respective research output and the establishment of the Centre of Expertise for Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality together with other institutions in the Netherlands. The facilities and support available to students at StendenUniversity are impressive.
